The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) has announced that the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will become compulsory for admission to several key undergraduate allied and healthcare programmes from the 2026–27 academic year.

– Correction Window: March 2026
– Admit Card: April 2026
– Exam Date: May 2026
– Result: June 2026
– Counselling: July 2026
Eligibility
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology. Minimum age is 17 years by December 31, 2026. No upper age or attempt limit. Open to Indian and foreign nationals.
Syllabus & Exam Pattern
Covers Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology from NCERT Class 11 and 12. Pen-and-paper mode, 3 hours duration, 180 MCQs, 720 marks total. +4 for correct, −1 for incorrect answers. Offered in 13 languages.
Application Process
Apply online via nta.ac.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. Upload scanned documents, pay fee online (~₹1700 for General). Admit cards downloadable in April.

CUET UG 2026

Eligibility

Computer-based exam with three sections: Language, Domain Subjects (up to 5), and General Aptitude. 60 minutes per section. Syllabus based on Class 12 NCERT. +5 for correct, −1 for incorrect.

Apply online via cuet.nta.nic.in. Fill personal details, upload documents, choose subjects. Fee ~₹1000 (General). Admit cards downloadable from official portal.
